Bella Stella is a playful pup looking for a new home. Originally from a SW Washington shelter, we do not know how she ended up at a shelter. She is learning basic skills and could benefit from a dog training class.
Bella is about 35 lbs. She is house-trained and comes with all age-appropriate shots.

UPDATE: Trigger found his new tribe in Lake Stevens, WA
Playful Trigger is ready for his new family. Trigger loves attention from humans. He also is quite a curious fellow when out on walks. Trigger is only 2 years old. He is active, curious, and loves being part of the family.
Trigger is food-motivated so foster dad is teaching him some basic manners. He loves dogs his own size but tends to be shy around bigger dogs.
As you can see from the pictures, he does an adorable walk using his hind legs.

Thanks to a grant from Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, we are pleased to announced Namaste Days in Okanogan County. "Namaste Spay and Neuter Initiative aims to address the issue of overcrowded animal shelters and the needless euthanasia of healthy pets. This is achieved by curbing the population of unwanted cats and dogs through spay and neuter surgery.”
The generous grant will help pay for 75 spay and neuter surgeries in Okanogan County.

Paisley is a fun-loving dog being cared for by a foster after her owner suffered some health-problems. She is quite friendly, loves people of all ages, loves other dogs, and has tons of energy. Paisley is learning house manners as well as using the potty pad. She is learning basic commands.
Paisley gets excited when she meets new people. However, she calms down after a few minutes.

UPDATE: Teddi found the most wonderful mom!
Meet little Miss Teddi. She's a shy 7 year old Maltese. She lived in California with her elderly guardian. Sadly, her guardian passed. Her family brought her up to Omak, WA where she stayed for about 2 years. However, the household is too busy and chaotic for this sweet girl. She is longing for a quiet home with 1 or 2 adults that either work from home or are retired.

Senior Horses In Our Rescue

Last month, we added a senior horse in our care. Meet Streak. She's a 22 year Off-Track Throughbred mare. She came from White Phantom Horse Rescue in Aenas Valley. She was surrendered with a body condition score of 1.
As you all know, we also have Skarner, a retired Arabian gelding in our care. On Mother's Day weekend, both received deep tissue massage from Silver Star Equine Massage.

We are also treating Streak for thrush. All 4 of her hooves are infected.

Honey is fostered in a multi cat household. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. She would thrive with a new home with other cats. She does love her friend Patches who is also available for adoption.
Honey's favorite pastime is lounging in the sun or by the heater at night. She loves to chase mice. Honey needs a bit more work in socialization. She is making progress daily. She would do best in a home with an understanding and patient family that will give her the space and time to feel more comfortable. Honey loves pets but not one to sit still on your lap. Her fur is nice and soft and she can be quite the talker when she wants your attention.
Honey is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 7 lbs.

Lady was a stray and very pregnant cat in Omak, WA. A good Samaritan opened her heart and home to this small but quite pregnant cat. A few days later, she gave birth to 8 kittens. The foster mom was concerned that the runt of the litter was not able to latch on to mama properly. We ordered cat milk from our vet which the foster promptly picked up.
Lady and her litter will receive veterinary care, all age-appropriate vaccines and will be altered before made available for adoption. Send us a message if you'd like to pre-apply.

UPDATE: We're so happy to report that Luna found the best home near Everett, WA
Luna is a playful and active pup. Now that it's getting warmer, she seems to prefer the outdoors. Coyote is curious about other dogs and cats. She loves children but would be best in a home with older kids due to her size and activity level. She weighs 66 lbs.
Luna will travel a reasonable distance to find new family. Currently fostered in Oroville, WA. Our nonprofit animal rescue has volunteers to are willing to travel to the Seattle area, Spokane and other cities.

Lila 2 year Old German Shepherd Husky Mix Available For Adoption

Lila was found on Thanksgiving day outside Nespelem, WA. She was starving and was emaciated. Sadly, no one claimed her. Her foster mom has been taking care of her and at about 62 pounds, she is now normal weight.
