Bridge to Fur Ever Homes
A Fur Ever Yours Training & Transition Program
Bridge to Fur Ever Homes is our trainer‑supported foster program designed to help dogs build confidence, learn essential skills, and prepare for successful adoption. Dogs in this program live with a certified trainer who provides hands‑on behavior support, structure, and individualized training plans. Meanwhile, Fur Ever Yours handles the adoption process and, when funding allows, the veterinary care needed to set each dog up for a healthy start. Together, we create a smooth, supportive bridge from rescue to a Fur Ever home.
🐶 Meet Our Current Bridge Dogs
These dogs are actively training with Shannon as part of the Bridge to Fur Ever Homes program.
Crash
DOB: 9/10/25 Breed: Australian Cattle Dog mix Sex: Male Status: Owner surrender (threatened harm)

Crash - Male Australian Cattle Dog DOB 9/20/25
Crash is a 6‑month‑old Border Collie/Heeler mix who came to us after his owner threatened to shoot him. Despite his rough start, Crash is friendly, social, and wonderfully adaptable. He’s doing great with dogs, cats, and even horses. Crash is smart, eager to learn, and thriving with structure. He’s a perfect fit for an active home that appreciates the brilliance (and busy brain) of herding breeds.
Sampson
Age: Just over 1 year Breed: Australian Shepherd / Kelpie mix Sex: Male Status: Unclaimed stray

Sampson - Cowboy Heeler Mix approx 2 years old
Sampson is an easygoing, observant boy who keeps showing us what a great companion he’ll be. Since his neuter, he’s blossomed even more. He enjoys watching TV, settles beautifully in the home, and has shown no interest in chickens. He’s been respectful with cats — when one hissed, he simply walked away — and he’s dog‑friendly with both males and females. Sampson is gentle, adaptable, and ready for a family who appreciates his sweet, steady nature.
🎓 Bridge Program Alumni
Princess — Adopted 3/18/26
Princess, a stunning 1‑year‑old Pitbull mix, graduated from the program and found her forever home right here in Okanogan County. With guidance from her trainer, she gained confidence, improved her manners, and learned how to navigate the world with more trust and stability. We’re thrilled she’s now living the life she deserves. Thanks to Team Okanogan for sponsoring Princess' spay and vet care.

We’re deeply thankful for the heart, skill, and dedication Shannon brings to every animal she meets. If her work has touched your foster or adopted pet, we’d love for you to share your story or drop a “thank you” to help us celebrate her impact.
