Meet Milo — A Gentle Senior Looking for His Soft Landing
Name: Milo Age: ~10 years Breed: Chihuahua mix Weight: 14 lbs (we're working on helping Milo lose weight) Gender: Male Status: Available for adoption
Milo is a tender old soul who found himself alone as an unclaimed stray in Eastern Washington. Now safe in rescue, he’s settling into warmth, routine, and kindness — things he clearly missed. His round little belly suggests he was loved once, and we’re determined to make sure he’s cherished again.
Milo moves through the world slowly and thoughtfully. His vision and hearing have faded, but his heart hasn’t. He melts into soft blankets, leans into gentle hands, and carries a quiet gratitude that only senior dogs seem to understand.
Why Milo Is Special
Calm, easygoing, and affectionate
Loves cozy spaces, soft voices, and predictable routines
Enjoys snacks and takes treats politely
Low‑maintenance companion who simply wants to be near his person
Dental scheduled for March 18th
His Ideal Home
Milo is hoping for a peaceful home where he can nap in sunny spots, enjoy a few treats, and be loved for exactly who he is. He doesn’t need much — just a soft place to land and someone who appreciates the gentle joy of senior dogs.
