A Community United for River

River’s story touched hearts far and wide. Originally found wandering in Pinehurst, Idaho, this sweet, large-breed dog faced an uncertain fate. With no family stepping forward, and the Shoshone County Pet Rescue overwhelmed with strays, his time was running out. However, when Fur Ever Yours shared his plea, the response was overwhelming— over 600 shares, countless comments, and so much hope poured in for River.

River’s new family, experienced with large-breed dogs, saw the post and knew he was meant to be part of their lives. Thanks to them, River now has a home filled with love, care, and stability.
