Kelso, an approximately 1-year-4-month-old male Sheepadoodle, has had a challenging start that has shaped his journey to find the perfect forever home. Born around March 2024, he was first surrendered to a Los Angeles shelter as a puppy on March 24, 2024. Sadly, he faced another surrender on February 25, 2025, during the intense Pasadena fires, adding to his early uncertainties. A compassionate young woman took him in as a foster, showering him with love, but her demanding work schedule made it difficult to provide the structure he needed.

Now, Kelso is in Fur Ever Yours Dog Rescue's care. He is making remarkable progress in a "boot camp style" board and train program, where he has truly blossomed. He has been successfully groomed, showing his ability to adapt with the right guidance, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. However, he can be cautious around strangers, especially when they approach his paws as evident in a recent vet visit where he was muzzled for safety. Kelso responded well with his trainer's support.

Kelso has had successful outings in public and loves the Farmer's Market in the Methow Valley. Kelso loves other dogs and he tends to match the energy of others during playdates.
